🇲🇦🇿🇦 Joost Strydom, leader of the Orania movement: "We were surprised by Morocco's support" — French-language Moroccan magazine Maroc Hebdo

"In reaction to the call for war against Morocco from Mandla Mandela, grandson of former South African president Nelson Mandela, supporters of Raja de Casablanca gave their support, on January 18, 2023, to Orania, which they had called it “the last colony in Africa”. For Maroc Hebdo, the leader of this Afrikaner bastion discusses this support and the potential relations that his movement wishes to establish with Morocco."

Forwarded from Tewie Wessels
Tewie Wessels, our friend and Boer activist, has been arrested for protesting on behalf of a father and son who have also suffered at the hands of an unjust South African legal system.
He has not promoted violence of any kind or broken any laws.
He simply voiced his support for a cause.

The tactic, used so often in these cases, is to simply postpone bail hearings for every and any small reason, thereby keeping "inconvenient men" like Tewie locked up as long as possible before they even get an opportunity to apply for bail, which often is not granted even though the defendant poses no flight risk and the alleged crime is relatively benign.
In South Africa justice is not blind, but it certainly is cockeyed.

The financial cost of all this is ruinous to say the least, so please help Tewie get by if you can. 100% of funds collected will go towards his legal fees and assisting him in the fight for justice.
Thank you

BREAKING - GROBLERSDAL ACTIVISTS RELEASED ON BAIL

We're seeing the beginning of a national revival, a march towards a new future for the Boer people where our rights, our land and above all our faith is preserved for the coming generations evermore.

God bless everyone who donated to charity, who led the protest actions in support of the Boers and especially those who prayed to our God for this victory.

1 Peter 2:11-14
King James Version
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
📈🇿🇦 South African Unemployment Rate Climbs as Farms Shed Jobs

South Africa’s unemployment rate rose in the fourth quarter as the social services and agriculture sectors cut jobs.

The official jobless rate increased to 32.1% in the three months through December from 31.9% in the previous quarter, Statistics South Africa said Tuesday in a report released in the capital, Pretoria. The median estimate of eight economists surveyed by Bloomberg was 31.6%.

The negative data may further erode voter support for the ruling African National Congress’s before elections later this year and bring further pressure to bear on the country’s fragile finances as fewer people pay taxes and more draw on welfare grants. A 350-rand (S18) monthly stipend for the unemployed already has 9 million recipients and President Cyril Ramaphosa has pledged to extend and improve it.

Incredible that South Africa has gone this far without any repercussions.

Also he's clearly threatening to turn "Cape Town" into a blood bath if Cape Independence happens, this after Malema recently said that he would send the army to the Western Cape if they tried to pull of Cape Independence.

🗳🇿🇦 South Africa to Hold National Elections May 29

South Africa will hold elections on May 29, President Cyril Ramaphosa said, setting the stage for a contest in which his ruling party faces the biggest threat to its national majority since coming to power three decades ago.

Almost 370 parties are eligible to participate in the election, which will be the first in which independent candidates can compete for national and provincial office, after parliament amended the electoral laws.

The vote is taking place 30 years after Nelson Mandela became the first leader of the nation’s democratic government at the end of White-minority rule. Since then, support for the African National Congress party has waned as the government fails to address record power outages, collapsing infrastructure and rampant crime and corruption.

South Africa has one of the highest unemployment rates in the world, and is ranked by the Thomas Piketty-backed World Inequality Lab as the most unequal country in the world for which data is available. Opinion polls suggest the ANC may win less than half the vote, forcing it to rely on smaller rivals to continue governing Africa’s most-industrialized nation.

Mass illegal land invasion in Bloemfontein

Thousands of people invaded vacant private properties on the outskirts of Lourierpark, Bloemfontein. The invaders started erecting illegal structures to "claim their stake" - an act known as landgrabbing.

By Saturday morning more than 500 shacks were erected. An estimated 3 000 land invaders were in the process of building structures. Law enforcement were unable to stop them.
